Skylyr Vasquez, Director

Mrs. Skylyr Vasquez is very excited to start her 3rd year of teaching at Clark High School. Mrs. Vasquez is from Plano, Texas where her passion for dance and drill team flourished at Vines High School. She was a Vikette as well as a Plano Senior High School Planoette, serving as Sergeant her senior year. After graduating from Plano Senior High, Mrs. Vasquez attended Tyler Junior College where she was an internationally famous Apache Belle, and participated in many performance opportunities such as on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship and at international soccer games in Costa Rica. Once she graduated from TJC with her associates degree, she transferred to the University of North Texas to earn her bachelor’s degree in dance education and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She loves traveling with her friends and spending quality time with her husband, Tyler, her family, and two dogs, Miro and Pyper. Let’s have a great year wildcats!

 

 

Caitlyn Pearce, Assistant Director

Ms. Caitlyn Pearce is going into her 3rd year of teaching Special Education and 1st year coaching Drill Team at Clark High School. Ms. Pearce is a Plano native who attended Vines High School and graduated from Plano Senior High School. Her love for dance and drill team began her freshman year at Vines when she enrolled in a drill team prep class. Ms. Pearce went on to served as a Vines Vikette Social Officer and a Plano Senior High School Planoette. After graduating from Plano she attended the University of Arkansas and pursued a Bachelor’s of Science in Special Education. While at the UofA Ms. Pearce became a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. She participated in many Panhellenic events such as Greek Sing which allowed her to continue her love for dance during her time on campus. Ms. Pearce also served as a Panhellenic recruitment counselor for 2 years. In her free time Ms. Pearce enjoys going line dancing and spending time with her friends and family. Ms. Pearce also has two precious fur babies

named Emmie and Stella. Woo pig and go Wildcats!
